Located in the municipality of Ocozocoautla. It is a large limestone pit that is approximately 160 meters in diameter and 140 meters deep. There are cave paintings on its wall that present human handprints, shapes, animals, signs and other undefined forms made at different periods of pre-Hispanic history. It shares characteristics with other pools within the El Ocote Reserve, such as La Lucha, which is also close to Río la Venta.

There are several activities that can be done here, such as perimeter walking, rock climbing, hiking, rappelling and hiking to Sima el Mujú. There are also crafts and food stalls around the hollow. Services include cabin accommodation, specialized guides and parking.
