Parque Punta Sur Ecological Reserve is located at kilometer 27 in the southern part of Cozumel island.

This Reserve contains a remarkable variety of natural beauty over its one thousand hectares. It is dominated by lagoons with characteristic coastal wetlands and mangrove forests that showcase a mosaic of environments and ecosystems with a rich wildlife habitat.

You can visit the Museum of Navigation and Lighthouses (Museo de la Navegación y el Faro). An eco-bus is available to transport visitors to the beach where they can snorkel. Another activity is a catamaran ride across the Laguna de Colombia, and of course don´t forget to visit the "Tomb of the Snail" ruin (Tumba del Caracol).

In addition to the park´s attractions, there are also wide beaches of fine white sand and transparent waters, with extraordinary and numerous reef formations, and an abundance of fauna.

The reserve offers transportation throughout the park, a restaurant, museum and lighthouse, guides, snorkel rental, snack bar, and craft and souvenir shop.
